Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of CheckTheOrg, operated by CloudMineLabs ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What CheckTheOrg is

CheckTheOrg turns public data (MCA filings, employee reviews, news, EPFO, job postings) into an automated 0–100 safety score and related tools to help job seekers evaluate companies. It is an information and decision-support tool only.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on CheckTheOrg is financial, legal, career or employment advice, and no lawyer/client, adviser/client or similar relationship is created. Scores and flags are automated estimates from public data and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Always exercise your own judgement and do your own due diligence before making any decision.

3. No warranty

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that any score, flag or piece of information is correct or current.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download the service or its data; resell or redistribute our reports/scores without permission; misuse the AI tools; submit false, defamatory or infringing content; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; or use it unlawfully.

5. Accounts

Some features require signing in via a third-party provider. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

6. CheckTheOrg Pro & payments

Pro is an optional paid subscription (currently ₹299 for 6 months) processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). Access is granted for the stated period; the free company score remains free. Fees are stated at checkout. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; you can choose not to renew at any time.

7. Your content

Reviews and reports you submit must be truthful and based on genuine experience, and must not be defamatory, unlawful or infringing. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display such content in aggregated/anonymised form. You are responsible for what you submit.

8. Company information & corrections

Company reports describe public-record information about companies. If you believe a score or flag is inaccurate — or you represent a company — use 'Report an issue' on that company's page. We review reports in good faith and correct genuine errors, but we are not obliged to remove accurate, sourced information.

9. Intellectual property

The CheckTheOrg name, scoring methodology, software, design and compiled reports are owned by CloudMineLabs and protected by law. Underlying public records remain the property of their respective sources.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudMineLabs and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss arising from decisions you make in reliance on the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify CloudMineLabs against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered location shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
